I Love Miniature

Everything just seems cuter in miniature!

So I made a tiny bird in a tiny tree, attached to a tiny embroidery hoop. It's yet another addition to my office embroidery hoop wall.

Needle felting is certainly NOT my forte! My poor fingers have been stabbed mulitple times. I give major props to any needle felting crafters out there! It's a lot of time and pain for a tiny piece :)

  1. Love this! The bird's color really pops out. I totally understand about needle felting...poke..poke..ouch..ouch!Those needles are dangerous. Have a super week. :)

  3. thanks ladies! :) I do really enjoy how the finished projects look. And since I can't crochet, knit or sew plushies, needle felting is the only way I can get a 3d form without using polymer clay.

there's a really great local artist who makes fabulous needle felted characters. She's the person I bought all of my felting material from: http://www.madebymoxie.com/
